Spending the Day at Como Zoo!

Aster Cafe

Whoa am I behind or what??  Ok I'll do what I can to make up for those lost days that have somehow slipped away from me but probably won't get to them all today.  Today was a pretty chill today and my roommate and I decided to go exploring and ended up in this pretty awesome place called the Aster Cafe, which is near the Stone Arch Bridge for those of you familiar with the Minneapolis area.  (Here's the link for those of you interested in checking it out: http://www.aster-cafe.com/) Anyways it was super classy in a Gatsby like way and our waiter even was a cross between Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon with a vintage vibe.  He had the suspenders and vintage shoes.  Anyways the outside, where we sat was like in a cute secluded garden like feel and I really wanted to know what it looked like when it was dark because there were lights all around us and lanterns!!

Time to Walk Dance!

This guy is AWESOME!!!  I'm totally going to grab a friend and see how many people we can get to do this with us sometime!!  Love this guy!!!  Totally brightened my day!! :)

Between the Raindrops

This is one of my new favorite songs!  I'm not sure what it is but I love the way that their voices sound in this song (and every time) but especially this song!  And I can imagine just dancing in the rain when they talk about "between the raindrops".  Love it!!  Good job on the duet pairing!! :)

Random Road Trip to Lake Superior

Ever feel like just getting in your car and just driving??  No place in particular to go and no deadlines.  Just you and the open road with the windows down and radio blasting.  In my case I just needed time to get away and think.  I had the day off from work so I packed a lunch and headed North and ended up at Lake Superior and here are some of the pictures from that day (Monday):

The Color Run

So I've signed up with my sister to do a 5K my first one!  YIKES!!  But it's the Color Run!! It's been on my bucket list ever since I've heard about it!!  It's where they throw color at you during the race and after the race so literally you are covered in color!!  It's almost like one of the previous posts I've done only in race form :)  I'm SO excited!!  The one thing about this race is that I'm not in shape and don't run so I've got until July 13 to get into shape and start running!  Oh gosh.  Help.
