Time to Walk Dance!

This guy is AWESOME!!! I'm totally going to grab a friend and see how many people we can get to do this with us sometime!! Love this guy!!! Totally brightened my day!! :)

This is one of my new favorite songs! I'm not sure what it is but I love the way that their voices sound in this song (and every time) but especially this song! And I can imagine just dancing in the rain when they talk about "between the raindrops". Love it!! Good job on the duet pairing!! :)

Random Road Trip to Lake Superior

Ever feel like just getting in your car and just driving?? No place in particular to go and no deadlines. Just you and the open road with the windows down and radio blasting. In my case I just needed time to get away and think. I had the day off from work so I packed a lunch and headed North and ended up at Lake Superior and here are some of the pictures from that day (Monday):

The Color Run

So I've signed up with my sister to do a 5K my first one! YIKES!! But it's the Color Run!! It's been on my bucket list ever since I've heard about it!! It's where they throw color at you during the race and after the race so literally you are covered in color!! It's almost like one of the previous posts I've done only in race form :) I'm SO excited!! The one thing about this race is that I'm not in shape and don't run so I've got until July 13 to get into shape and start running! Oh gosh. Help.

Festival of Nations

Ok, number one I must play catch-up yet again! I'm doing so bad lately! But don't worry I've found some super awesome videos lately that I just HAVE to put on here so hopefully that will make up for my being so terrible! Anyways so I attended this thing on the Saturday (the 4th) and it was like the Uptown Global Market on steroids!!! They had food from 35 different countries!! I tried a Mezza sampler from Lebanon which was incredible!! I'm not entirely sure what was all on the platter except I did recognize the olives, pita bread, humus, and pickles, but everything was delicious!!! I've got to say besides the food one of the highlights for me was watching the dancers perform traditional dances from their country! So cool! I could have watched the Irish dancers all night! The Fault in Our Stars

Speaking of the Vlogbrothers...One of them, John Green, just came out with a book called The Fault in Our Stars. I'm an avid reader and I would super recommend this one if any of you out there is into reading! Now I don't normally go for the kids who have cancer type books because they normally are too sad and depressing for me to read, but this one was quirky and a very interesting read and, yes, it was sad but the quirks outnumbered the sadness for me. http://johngreenbooks.com/the-fault-in-our-stars/

Here is my favorite place to dine!! I am a people watcher and this is seriously the best place to do it at! It has some of the best food because I mean you can't get more authentic than this place with the people from different countries and cultures! I have found the best Chai EVER!!! If you have been searching for that perfect cup of chai people look no further!!! It doesn't have a lot of choices in the way of coffee or coffee drinks, but the service was great and the chai was phenomenal!!
